We are curently selling the 2023 print.

A fully revised and updated edition of my bestselling baby sleep guide.

Tizzie Hall has gained an international reputation as a baby whisperer and miracle worker. Even from an early age, Tizzie knew how to read babies body language and cries, and from that auspicious beginning she has developed a series of sleep routines that have provided parents and babies with a good night's sleep the world over.

Save Our Sleep is the book that parents asked Tizzie to write, and with over 500,000 copies sold it has rapidly become the only book parents need to cure their own sleep deprivation! It provides specific routines for sleeping and feeding for all stages from newborns to two years, as well as addressing issues that can affect a baby's sleep pattern such as colic, reflux through to accommodating daylight saving, travelling and moving house.

New material includes new routines, integrated feedback on routines, expressing and dealing with premature babies and twins, and helpful tips for choosing cots, bedding, swaddling and child safety seats.  Tried and tested, Tizzie will show you how to help your baby sleep all night, every night.

Save Our Sleep is a must-have for all new parents. Practising Tizzie's routines is the solution to having a baby who will sleep through the night!

I used Tizzie’s sleep and feeding guides for my 3 children since 2007 and I definitely recommend them! My children are still great sleepers (and eaters) at age 15, 12 and 9. I’m now buying them as baby shower gifts for some new parents. Thanks!

This is the best and only baby parenting book you will ever need. I swear by it. I am so grateful to Tizzie and to my friend who recommended it to me, and now I recommend it to everyone. It significantly improved my quality of life, and my ability to be the mother that I wanted to be. When my first baby was born, the first 10 weeks were a nightmare of breastfeeding problems, reflux, and a baby who screamed all day, was awake all night, and only catnapped in the day. I was a wreck. Then I spent a week implementing Save Our Sleep. After 5 days, he slept through the night 7pm-7am with a dreamfeed, and started having proper day sleeps. I felt like a new woman! And he slept better, fed better, and was happier when he was awake. We never looked back. When my second baby was born, I put her on the routine on Day 1 and she has slept like an absolute angel for her entire life. It's not a fluke, it's thanks to Tizzie Hall. I think the role of this book in preventing postnatal depression and helping mums be the best parents they can be is absolutely amazing. The other great thing is that Tizzie gives very sensible advice on all manner of topics, from breastfeeding to introducing solids etc. I had very little support from family and I will forever be grateful to Tizzie Hall for helping me to fulfil my ambition of being a loving, caring, reliable, good mother. Thanks to Tizzie my children slept and fed well and were able to engage happily and calmly with the world, and depend on consistent routines that made them feel safe, and had a mum who was full of energy to devote to them and respond with love and patience to the demands of parenting (because she'd had a good night's sleep!)

I think to myself ALL the time how lucky and grateful I am that I came across your book when I was very first pregnant. It has made motherhood such a breeze and enjoyment ! I seriously cannot relate to all these peoples horror stories and sleep deprivation. You are one smart cookie and have given me such reassurance with how to handle my children in their first 2 years of life . I thought maybe it was a fluke with my first child (now 2yrs) but my 2nd girl (3 months) has proven to be the same. Every time someone says “your just lucky you got good babies” I always correct them and say no it’s not luck. Thanks to Tizzie I have trained them. You are seriously my everyday hero. Thanks Tizzie . What you do doesn’t go unnoticed . Just thought I would let u know my thoughts.

Both my boys are fantastic independent sleepers thanks to the guidance and advice this book offers. I recommend it to everyone I know! I’ve just gifted a book to my sister to help her out with her beautiful twins......yep there is even a plan for twins!

I never take the time to write a review or write recommendations or simply write to say a HUGE thank you however I wish someone had told me about the benefits of using these products prior to stocking up a nursery full of polyester and sweaty clothing... so I’ve written my review hoping to help an other mumma make positive choices from day one! Firstly my son was a good little sleeper; we had made a lot of effort with self settling and getting him used to sleeping on his own early on which made me think purchasing additional products, (products I already had in some form or an other) would be a waste of money- money which really I didn’t have. When I say a good sleeper I mean he could always be better but on the same note I couldn’t complain. I started reading the SOS book off the recommendation of a friend, following hearing horror stories of friend’s 2 year olds waking every 2 hours to comfort suck- I was determined this couldn’t happen. Prior to purchasing the SOS book I looked at different options all promoting babies and toddlers sleep; all of which required some kind of aids such as blockout curtains or white noise, this seemed to defeat the purpose- what would I do if we weren’t home and didn’t have these items to help him sleep? So quickly I realised this wasn’t what we needed. Once I got the book I became obsessed with the benefits of self settling. I wanted my boy to be confident he could sleep anywhere with anyone who put him to bed. I had him sleeping in a snuggle bed which at times when I’d get him up he’d be quite sweaty and damp so I assumed he was hot and didn’t need all the recommended bedding. But the weather cooled and he continued to be damp which is when I realised there must be some truth to these products and bedding guide- not just an other baby item! I forked out the money and bought yet an other batch of baby items; mattress; mattress protector; sheets; blankets; comforter and sleeping bags- if you’re going to do it I thought I might as well do it all! And I don’t regret it one bit! I get smiles when I put him in bed now and leave him to self settle. He isn’t damp at all when I pick him up despite wearing more and being covered with a lot more blankets! I was nervous as to how he would sleep without the bumpers of his snuggle bed and to be on the big mattress without anything making him feel safe. But with his comforter by his side the blankets did the job and he’s happier than ever! The quality is amazing. Everything is so soft and plush; his mattress is nicer than mine and those sheets make me want to curl up in bed with him. I’d recommend these products to anyone. Buy them first time round; you’re spending the money spend it on quality and you’re buying yourself some much needed sleep! I wish I had done this. I wish I had known of these products. I wish I knew babies would sweat if not in the correct bedding. I feel bad thinking how cold and uncomfortable my little man was for the first weeks of his life; but it makes me so happy when I now see him snuggled up next to his comforter because I know he’s safe, snug and happily getting the rest he needs. No fights or stress around bed time for us! Just smiles! I wish I had known about SOS- all of it; the routines; the feeding advice; the bedding guide and the products before I was looking for a solution. I mean no disrespect to any of your team when I say I wish SOS had the same marketing as some of these other brands because every mother and bubba deserves to know about the SOS package before searching to fix a problem because I know the problem could have been avoided if we had just known better from the start! Thankyou SOS

"I just wanted to say thank you. In the paragraph on constipation there is one sentence that says if your baby has all the signs of constipation but runny poos it could be tight anal sphincter. I have had a screaming baby in pain for over 9 weeks. I read this went straight to my GP who i have been begging for help for months. His referral to paed read colicky, constipated baby. Due to depression in mother needs an appointment. Well guess what this is what he had and life is much better now. And yes i fired that gp Thank you thankyou. One little sentence about a rare condition changed my life x x "

Just do it. I did everything Tizzy Hall said in her book (other than give bub a comforter - for no real reason, i just havent got around to getting one i want), since about 6 weeks and by 8 weeks my bub has been sleeping from 7pm-6:30/7am (with a dreamfeed) EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. I could set my watch to my bub's waking and getting sleepy behaviour - the routine has her like clockwork and she knows when to sleep, when to wake up. It's like my bub knows that sleep is good and she instantly relaxes when i wrap her and put her to bed. She wakes around 6:30/7am and talks to herself or is silent, happy as can be. When I walk into the room and she sees me she is all smiles. I put my bub to bed all smiles and about 80% of the time i hear not a peep from her; she just relaxes, self-soothes on her hand and goes to sleep. I did Tizzy's routines after seeing my friend have 3 kids who easily go to bed and stay in bed and mum and dad go about their day/night as normal. I have followed Tizzy's advise re: dummies and I've never used one and havent felt the need to. In life you can't always stick to the routine but if you keep adjusting bub back onto the routine at each opportunity. When I cant stick to the routine, my bub just easily responds and by the end of the day im back on track and there is no downward spiral or anything like that. It's hard seeing other mums i know constantly talk about how their bub doesnt sleep, cries all the time, sleeps for only 40mins at a time and many other difficulties and i just want to shout at them to do Tizzy Hall's routines! I cant say enough good things about Tizzy and Save Our Sleep.
